REVIT VIEWS IN EXTENDED OR DUAL SCREENS

If you use 2 screens in the windows extended mode you know Revit only allows you to move the Project browser and Properties pallette to the 2nd screen. But that leaves the 2nd screen way underused, I bet you would love to use that screen to have more open views while working.

Well I've found a trick that might be obvious to many but it will surely help some others who haven't noticed this trick yet.

This is what you typically get while working in extended or dual screens:

Go to the upper right corner of Revit's window and click "Restore down".

Then stretch horizontally your Revit window onto the 2nd screen. Open all the views you need and tile them!!!

If you haven't been able to connect a 2nd screen because your computer doesn't have a video output (VGA nor HDMI) just as in the "All-in-One desktops", try using a USB 3.0 to VGA adapter, or a USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter. It depends if your 2nd screen has VGA or HDMI inlet. I've done this search in Amazon USA, check it out.
